Commanders, Ravens Interested In Eric Bieniemy

washington commanders

The Washington Commanders and the Baltimore Ravens both have their eyes on Kansas City Chiefs offensive coordinator Eric Bienemy, who has been a constant hot name among head coaching circles the past few years, but their interest is for a role as their offensive coordinator.

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter as well as NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport, the Commanders and Ravens join the Tennessee Titans as teams that have formally requested to interview Bieniemy.

The Commanders and Ravens jobs are not classified as lateral moves, since each position would come with full play-calling responsibilities, and prevents that Chiefs from blocking their interview requests.

Bieniemy, 53, signed a contract extension with the Chiefs last year.
