The Green Bay Packers have received trade interest in wide receiver Randall Cobb, according to NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport.

Despite the interest, however, the Packers are not actively shopping the wide receiver and fully expect Cobb, who was considered to be on the roster bubble earlier this year prior to the team cutting Jordy Nelson, to be a major contributor for the team this upcoming season.

Green Bay Packers wide receiver Randall Cobb has seen the team struggle, from time to time, during his tenure but feels that the struggles of this year’s team, that has them sitting at 3-4-1 is different.

“We’ve lost games before here, but this just feels different,” Cobb said, according to Rob Demovsky of ESPN. “And it doesn’t feel good. It’s not fun. But we’ve got to figure something out.”

“Yeah, I mean we definitely need some momentum, we need to get a win,” Cobb said. “I can tell you, this isn’t fun. Very frustrating and it’s tough. Because I know what we’re capable of and we’re not there. I don’t know what it is, but we’ve got to find a way to get it done.”

Green Bay will have a chance to get back on track with the struggling Miami Dolphins this Sunday, but losing that game could be a sign of a lost season.

Clinton-Dix being shipped out seems to be a cost-related move as he is earning $5.957 million as part of the fifth-year option that the Packers picked up. The safety was seeking a long-term deal and even skipped voluntary OTAs in hopes of securing a new deal.

The Baltimore Ravens have acquired running back Ty Montgomery from the Green Bay Packers in exchange for a 2020 seventh-round draft pick, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

Montgomery’s exit from Green Bay just days after Montgomery made a terrible decision to run the ball out of the end zone, where it should have been downed, and ended up fumbling the ball, ending any chance of the Packers upsetting the undefeated Los Angeles Rams.

Packers’ quarterback Aaron Rodgers was visibly upset with Montgomery for the error.

“I’ve never been a guy to completely disobey what I’m being told. I think you can ask a lot of guys in our locker room,” Montgomery said. “That’s not what I do. That’s not the type of man I am. That’s not the kind of person I am.”
