The Washington Redskins are ensuring one of their youngsters is in the fold for the next couple of years.

Washington will sign cornerback Quinton Dunbar to a three-year extension worth $10.25M with $5.25M guaranteed, according to NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport.

Dunbar, who was set to become an unrestricted free agent, will receive a $3M signing bonus, according to USA Today’s Mike Jones.

Dunbar, an undrafted free agent, started four games for the Redskins this season, notching 28 tackles and playing 373 snaps.
