New England Patriots offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels and Houston Texans defensive coordinator Mike Vrabel are considered the finalists for the Indianapolis Colts head coaching job, according to’s Albert Breer.

While Vrabel’s defensive unit did not produce any impressive results in 2017, he is considered one of the best up-and-coming coaches in the league.

McDaniels will come with more experience, having served as head coach of the Denver Broncos for 2 seasons, posting an underwhelming 11-17 record.

The Colts have been very active in their coaching search, so more names could be considered as finalists as the search rolls on.
