The Cleveland Browns are undergoing a lot of changes this offseason after another 0-16 finish. Cleveland has hired former Cincinnati Bengals offensive coordinator Ken Zampese, but not for a offensive coordinator role.
Instead, Zampese has been brought in as the team’s new quarterbacks coach, according to Mary Kay Cabot of Cleveland.com.
With the Browns owning the #1 overall pick and linked to not only the top quarterback prospects in the draft, but also the top veteran signal callers available in trade and free agency, the hiring of an experienced quarterbacks coach is sensible.
Zampese spent 12 seasons as the Bengals’ quarterbacks coach prior to his promotion to offensive coordinator.
