The Buffalo Bills will not be hiring Mike McCoy to replace the recently fired Rick Dennison as offensive coordinator, according to Vic Carucci of the Buffalo News.

McCoy, at one time, was one of the hottest names in coaching, lauded for his work with the Denver Broncos from 2010-2012.

His work got him a head coaching job with the Los Angeles Chargers but was fired after an unsuccessful stint.

McCoy was brought back to Denver as offensive coordinator but was recently fired due to the struggles of the offensive unit all season.

Colts offensive coordinator Rod Chudzinski is the next name being linked to the Bills offensive coordinator position.
