We haven’t heard much from former 1st round pick Robert Griffin III since his short tenure with the Cleveland Browns.

In fact, RGIII hasn’t drawn much interest on the free agent market since, despite a need for quarterbacks for a handful of teams.

However, RGIII claims that he came close to inking a deal with the Baltimore Ravens, per ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

According to Griffin, the signal caller has had “interesting offers” from other teams as well.

Griffin’s value is at an all-time low and there is no clear opportunity for his services at the NFL level this year and it’s not looking so good for the offseason either.
