Washington Redskins veteran tackle Trent Williams is likely done for the year, barring an emergency situation, according to ESPN’s John Keim.

Williams has discussed needing offseason knee surgery which would likely keep him on the shelf for up to 6 months or more, but he played through the injury, starting 10 games for Washington this season.

Williams, 29, who is under contract through 2020, said he may opt to have the surgery next week.
