Baltimore Ravens cornerback Jimmy Smith suffered a season-ending Achilles injury on Sunday but will be missing even more time.

Smith has been suspended four games for violating the NFL’s policy on performance-enhancing substances, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

Smith has decided to drop his appeal and begin serving his suspension after tearing his Achilles this past weekend.

Baltimore is expected to place Smith on injured reserve this week and the suspension will cost Smith a total of $182,352.
