The New York Jets have released wide receiver Jeremy Kerley, who is scheduled to return from suspension this week.
Kerley was dealt a four-game ban for performance-enhancing drugs back in November and has spent 6 of his 7 seasons in New York with the Jets.
Kerley, who has 22 catches for 217 yards and one touchdown this season, is subject to waivers and if he clears them, he is free to sign with any team he chooses.
