The New York Giants have suspended rookie cornerback Eli Apple for the final game of the season, the team announced on Wednesday.
Apple has had a trainwreck of a season with the Giants topped off by his beef with teammate Landon Collins.
This is looking like a bust for the Giants who were expecting far more from Apple, whom they drafted with the 10th pick in the 2017 NFL Draft, who has struggled both on the field and off the field as well.
The Giants have apparently had enough of Apple’s behavior.
“We have suspended Eli for a pattern of behavior that is conduct detrimental to the team,” interim GM Kevin Abrams said.
