The Philadelphia Eagles may have lost quarterback Carson Wentz for the season, but rookie cornerback Sidney Jones is set to practice this week, according to Chris Mortensen of ESPN.

Jones has been out since March, due to a torn Achilles suffered during the final rep of his pro day, and has been eligible to start practicing since the beginning of Week 7 but has not been healthy enough to resume football activities.

Despite his slip in the draft, the Eagles remain high on the rookie cornerback, believing he has 1st round talent and major potential.
