Texans Cut Matt McGloin, Kendall Langford, Sign Josh Johnson
The Houston Texans have had a busy day in regards to addressing their roster.
The Texans have cut quarterback Matt McGloin and replaced him by signing quarterback Josh Johnson who has not played in a regular season NFL game since 2013.
Houston has also released defensive lineman Kendall Langford.
It’s unclear what Johnson’s role will be as the team seems to be sticking with Tom Savage as their starter and TJ Yates as his backup.
Houston is expected to activate tight end C.J. Fiedorowicz from injured reserve this week.
