The Seattle Seahawks are bringing back a familiar face to their secondary.

Seattle is signing cornerback Byron Maxwell to a one-year deal, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN.

Maxwell played the best football of his career in Seattle and his play earned him a lucrative contract to play with the Philadelphia Eagles.

After disappointing in Philly, the Eagles traded him to the Miami Dolphins where Maxwell played better for a bit.

However, Maxwell became problematic this season, often going rogue on defense and seeing a major dip in his performance.
