The Green Bay Packers have released veteran tight end Martellus Bennett with the failure to disclose a medical condition designation, according to Field Yates of ESPN.com.

Bennett, 30, announced that he is considering retirement after the conclusion of the regular season.

Bennett signed with Green Bay in the offseason, on a  three-year, $21M contract and has only posted 24 receptions and 233 yards with 0 touchdowns so far this season.
