The Atlanta Falcons are on the market for some cornerback help and are kicking the tires on former Miami Dolphins cornerback Byron Maxwell.

Maxwell, who was cut by the Dolphins in October worked out for the Falcons on Monday, according to Field Yates of ESPN.com.

The market has been brutally cold for Maxwell, as his visit with the Falcons marks his first known workout since his release from Miami.

Maxwell is familiar, due to the time he spent with the Seattle Seahawks, with Falcons head coach Dan Quinn and defensive coordinator Marquand Manuel.
