A man is suing Philadelphia Eagles defensive tackle Fletcher Cox, whom he says seduced his wife, according to a report from the Charlotte Observer.

The report states that the Huntersville man says Cox seduced his wife and ruined their marriage.

Cox is being sued for alienation of affection by Joshua Jeffords in Mecklenburg County Civil Court.

Jeffords said he and his wife were happily married until September of this year, when he learned of salacious text messages and messages over Snapchat between Cox and his wife. with at least two of the text messages from Cox in which he state that he wanted to get her pregnant, according to the suit.

Jeffords says he sought mental health treatment for “substantial emotional distress” and he is seeking at least $50,000 in damages.

Cox has yet to respond to the lawsuit.
