The Kansas City Chiefs have signed defensive tackle Cam Thomas to replace Roy Miller, following Miller’s arrest for domestic battery.

Thomas spent training camp with the Chiefs, so he has a familiarity with their 3-4 defensive scheme and should help soften the blow of Miller’s absence.

Miller was released on Monday.

Thomas, 30, could find himself immediately on the field for Kansas City as they prepare to play the New York Giants in East Rutherford, New Jersey.
