The Cleveland Browns will have to play out the remainder of another trying season without the help of one of their best defensive players.

Browns linebacker Jamie Collins will miss the remainder of the season with a torn MCL and will be placed on the injured reserve list this week, Browns’ head coach Hue Jackson announced on Monday.

Collins, 27, re-signed with the Browns this offseason on a four-year, $50M contract and was injured after pulling down his first interception of the season on Sunday.

Collins ends the season with 31 total tackles, one interception, one sack, one forced fumble, and three pass deflections.
