The Chicago Bears and linebacker Lamarr Houston are going to have a reunion.

The Bears claimed Houston, who was released yesterday by the Houston Texans, off of waivers on Wednesday, according to NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport.

Houston played for Chicago from 2014-2016 but his tenure was marred by injuries as Houston suffered two ACL tears and multiple other knee injuries during his tenure with the team.

Houston recorded seven total tackles, one forced fumble in 5 games with the Texans this season.

It is likely that the Bears will utilize Houston in a reserve role.
