The Green Bay Packers injury woes may be continuing.
Packers right tackle Bryan Bulaga left Monday night’s game to the Detroit Lions with what is believed to be a significant injury to his right knee.
The Packers lost to the Lions 30-17.
“They seem very concerned about it,” Packers head coach Mike McCarthy said after the game.
Green Bay has been struggling with their offensive line as Monday night’s game marked only the second time this season that all five starters on the Packers’ offensive line had played together.
Bulaga had to be helped off the field and carted to the locker room and Justin McCray, who has started two games at right tackle and two at left guard this season, replaced him in the game.
Green Bay also lost safety Morgan Burnett to a groin injury.
Packers Activate Aaron Jones
The Green Bay Packers have activated running back Aaron Jones from the suspended list earlier this week, according to an official team announcement.
In a corresponding move, the Packers waived cornerback Deante Burton.
Jones, 23, was suspended for two games by the league for violating the NFL’s substance abuse policy after an October 2017 arrest..
Packers’ Aaron Rodgers Expected to Play Week 2
Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers had an injury scare during Sunday night’s comeback win over the Chicago Bears, but he is expected to play in Week 2, according to NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport.
Rodgers, who crumbled to the ground with a knee injury during the first half of action, re-entered Sunday’s game with sporting an air cast that is typically associated with knee sprains, and he will undergo further testing on the knee this week.
Packers Sign Korey Toomer
Toomer, a former 2012 fifth round draft pick of the Seattle Seahawks who has played primarily special teams during his career, signed a one-year deal with the San Francisco 49ers back in April of this year but was cut during final cuts this weekend.
In a corresponding move, Green Bay placed wide receiver Jake Kumerow on injured reserve
