Seattle Seahawks Work Out Branden Albert

Associated Press

The Seattle Seahawks are kicking the tires on offensive tackle and former Miami Dolphins lineman Branden Albert.

Albert worked out for the team on Monday, according to Field Yates of ESPN.

Albert was traded from Miami to the Jacksonville Jaguars over the summer. After unsuccessfully pushing Jacksonville for a revised contract, Albert retired and attempted to change his mind before the Jags pushed him out.

Seattle has major needs on the line and has just the 23rd ranked O-Line in the NFL, per the metrics at Football Outsiders.

Albert had a rough 2016 campaign but has been to two Pro Bowls in the past and brings plenty of experience to the table.
