Eagles’ Lane Johnson Clears Concussion Protocol, Returns To Practice
The Philadelphia Eagles are widely considered to be one of the NFL’s elite teams thus far during the 2017 NFL regular season and now they are getting some more help.
Eagles right tackle Lane Johnson cleared the concussion protocol and was able to return to practice Tuesday.
Johnson missed last Thursday’s game at the Carolina Panthers.
Eagles running back Wendell Smallwood missed the last two games with what he describes as knee swelling but practiced in full on Tuesday.
“It didn’t bother me that much,” said Smallwood about the injury. “I’m working towards [playing on Monday Night Football]. “I felt good today. Hopefully…I’ll get even better as the week goes on.”
