Washington Redskins safety Su’a Cravens is only 22 years old, yet the team’s 2016 second round pick is contemplating retirement.

Cravens, who was nursing a knee injury has old some within the Redskins organization this weekend that he is planning to retire.

However, a meeting with the team’s coaches and executives has changed his mind for now according to an ESPN report.

A retirement would make Cravens one of the youngest NFL players to date to retire.

Cravens is struggling with his transition to the NFL and team officials want to help him through it rather than have him walk away.

Cravens is expected to miss the start of the season as the team helps him address his issues.
