The Carolina Panthers feared the worst when tight end Greg Olsen broke his right foot in their Week 2 game against the Buffalo Bills.

The Panthers feared that Olsen would be lost for the season, which would be a major blow to the offense moving forward.

According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, Olsen is only expected to miss about 6 games due to the injury.

During his absence, Carolina will turn to tight end Ed Dickson to help make up for the loss of Olsen.
