Cowboys’ Ezekiel Elliott Could Face 6-Game Suspension

The reports circulation the NFL media world is that Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott is going to be suspended by the NFL.

How long? According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, Ezekiel could be suspended for as many as six games by the NFL.

Rapoport said some form of discipline is expected noting that 6 games is the benchmark but he could be suspended for fewer adding that a fine is also a possibility.

NFL Network’s Jane Slater reported that Elliott’s suspension could come close to the aforementioned 6-game benchmark.

Elliott is still under investigation by the NFL for a domestic violence allegation made by a 20-year-old woman in Columbus, Ohio back in July of 2016, according to TMZ.

There are also other incidents that have involved Elliott including a melee that allegedly occurred at a Dallas club in which a dj’s nose was broken as well as an incident at a St. Patrick’s Day parade back in March in which Elliott pulled down a woman’s top.
