The Los Angeles Chargers took another hit in the injury department as the team will be without linebacker Denzel Perryman for up to 4-6 weeks with an ankle injury.

Perryman suffered the injury in Sunday’s preseason game against the Seattle Seahawks and will undergo an MRI on Monday, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

Perryman was expected to be the Chargers’ starting middle linebacker, but this injury will delay those plays for a bit.

The Chargers have already seen injuries hit the likes of rookie wide receiver Mike Williams (lower back disk herniation) and rookie offensive lineman Forrest Lamp (torn ACL).

The Chargers are hoping that this doesn’t morph into a long-term injury.
