Titans Waive Sebastian Tretola After Shooting
The Tennessee Titans waived offensive guard Sebastian Tretola on Friday, five days after he was shot in his leg/ankle area. Tretola was waived with a non-football injury designation.
In a corresponding move, the Titans announced the addition of veteran linebacker Eric Walden who will be taking Tretola’s spot on the roster.
The Titans also signed rookie offensive lineman Jake Simonich and released linebacker Johnny Ragin.
Tretola was a 2016 6th-round draft pick and played in one game last season for Tennessee.
Tretola was released from the hospital Sunday with what the team called “a minor injury”. Tretola, along with teammate and Titans receiver Tajae Sharpe were accused accused of assaulting a man outside a Nashville bar back in April of this year.
Neither man has been charged and the case is being investigated as a civil matter.
